Starbucks Pink Drink
Pink Drink is a popular Starbucks Refresher beverage made with ice, strawberry acai base, coconutmilk (Starbucks coconut milk blend), and freeze-dried strawberries. It’s sweet, fruity, and refreshing.
This drink is harder than other Starbucks copycat recipes to recreate since it’s difficult to pinpoint what’s exactly in the strawberry acai base. The first recipe created was made using Very Berry Hibiscus Starbucks VIA Instant Refreshers, but since that has been discontinued, it has been reformulated to this current version.
The Pink Drink at Starbucks contains caffeine in the strawberry acai base but this copycat recipe is caffeine-free.

Ingredient Notes
![Pink Drink (Starbucks Copycat Recipe) (2) Pink Drink (Starbucks Copycat Recipe) (2)](https://i0.wp.com/coffeeatthree.com/wp-content/uploads/pink-drink-updated-1.jpg)
- Strawberry syrup: This is a strawberry puree made into a syrup by adding sugar. This will bring out the strawberry flavor that’s in the drink and sweeten it.
- Passion fruit syrup: The secret ingredient that makes the drink taste like the Pink Drink.
- White cranberry strawberry juice: The strawberry acai base is a blend of flavors and this juice does a great job creating the fruity flavor.
- Coconut milk: Get coconut milk in the refrigerated section instead of the ones sold in cans. The coconut milk in cans are too thick. Starbucks uses a sweetened coconut milk that’s more like coconut water and the refrigerated versions are the most similar.
- Freeze-dried strawberries: Starbucks calls freeze-dried fruit that they put into drinks, inclusions. These add-ins flavor the drink as they rehydrate in the liquid.
- Ice: Use filtered water to make ice if possible for a better tasting drink since ice makes up half the beverage.

Expert Tips
- Since the drink uses strawberry syrup, the freeze-dried strawberries are more decorative than for flavoring, so it’s an optional garnishing ingredient and can be taken out. However, it gives the beverage the signature Pink Drink look.
- The passion fruit syrup gives the drink a slightly tangy taste and it’s what makes the drink taste like the Pink Drink. You only need a little bit but it makes a big difference.
- To make the drink decadent, top it off with chocolate cold foam or matcha cold foam.
